Joining Vivienne Westwood in 2007 was a dream Nermin had envisioned at the age of seven come true. Her progressive and contemporary approach toward Menswear has been an inspiration for many young designers. Next to her vision of the Climate Change Revolution and Manifestos, she has been campaigning before the mainstream started.

She first started to assist for Anglomania Label, Womenswear with the knowledge that unfortunately at the time the Menswear Department would not accept female designers. After three months of dedication, determination, and repeatedly asking if she could join the Menswear team, she was given the opportunity to join the team. She was responsible for doing research, designing, and contributing to the Man Japanese license “Elegant Traveller” AW 08-09 and Vivienne Westwood Man “American Gangsters” AW 08-09.

After Vivienne Westwood, the Head Designer started his own successful childrenswear brand Jessie and James. She has contributed to the early stages of the setting up of their brand between 2010 and 2013.
